Special Pricing on Wilson Retrospective and Art Suite Databases for March

This post was written by Ellie Nowicki

From now until March 26, 2010, new subscribers can save up to 30% on H.W. Wilson’s Art Suite databases and up to 20% on Retrospective databases.

This limited-time promotion applies to the following Wilson Art Suite databases:

  • Art Museum Image Gallery – a rich digital resource of art images and related multimedia gathered from the collections of distinguished museums around the world.
  • Cinema Image Gallery – presents the history of movie-making through a wide range of high-quality images of films in production: directors working on-set with the stars, set, costume and production design as well as hair and make-up shots and rare behind-the scenes material.
  • Art Full Text – offers full text plus abstracts and indexing of an international array of peer-selected publications with expanded coverage of Latin American, Canadian, Asian and non-Western art, new artists, contemporary art, exhibition reviews and feminist criticism.

Libraries can save up to 20% on Wilson’s retrospective databases.  These databases enable students and faculty to search nearly a century of content all at once, saving time and making the most use of the library’s print and online archival periodical and book collections. Because the retrospective database articles are indexed with the inclusion of both historical and current subject headings, users are more likely to find all the relevant material on a topic.
